Caregiving

My daughter sent me this book to read.

She thought it would give me an insight on how my "caregiver husband" Jeff, family and friends would have felt when I was going through my tough times.

This book is about Madelyn Kubin, Elaine's mother. Madelyn wrote letters of how she felt as she was caring for her dear late husband Quentin after his stroke.

The courage, faith and love shown by Madelyn as she cared and watched her partner suffer, did wear her thin at times but she still managed to find humour.

This story can relate to anyone caring for a loved one with any type of illness.

I found this book extremely moving and recommend it as a wonderful read. I do suggest that you have a box of tissues by your side.

I received this Caregiver Survival tips with my book and would like to share it with you.

Rosie:)
